Attn: A Letter to the Individuals Going through the AIDs Crisis
Dear People of the World,
This letter is dedicated for the man living with AIDS,
For the woman facing this challenge of living with AIDs,
For the little boy and girl learning to cope living with AIDs,
And for anyone born with the HIV virus, which is the leading cause of AIDs.
Today marks the 1st day of December, also known as: "World AIDs Day". We at Global Harmony Health want you to know that we care. We see the stigma around AIDS, and we want to help raise awareness, fight against discrimination, and remember those we have lost. Together, we can work towards better prevention, treatment, and care.
We live in a world with many problems, like violence, hunger, and sickness. So if you are living with the medical condition of AIDS, or suffering with the HIV virus that is leading you closer down the path of AIDs, please know that you are not alone. We support you in your journey. If you are not affected and reading this, remember that anyone can be at risk. It’s important to get tested and know your status. Learn about HIV/AIDS and share this knowledge with others. You can help make a difference in someone’s life.
We honor those we have lost and support those who are still fighting for their lives. Living positive with HIV should never invite shame. Everyone has a story, and each story can be the positive story the world needs to hear. A positive plus a heart can equal a "positive heart". A positive plus a mindset can equal a "positive mindset". And a positive plus a spirit can equal a "positive spirit". Let's encourage being positive because all positives aren't always considered a bad thing.
While World AIDS Day is just one day, our commitment here at Global Harmony Health continues year-round. We will honor the lost, educate ourselves and others, and encourage everyone to know their status.
We can create a world filled with understanding and support if we work together.
Until next time.
Peace, Love & Harmony,
Global Harmony Health
