Global Harmony Health: ZAMBIA (GHHZAM) is the first international franchise installment of the United States 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Global Harmony Health, Inc (GHH), which is located in the African country of Zambia.
At Global Harmony Health: Zambia, we believe that health is not just the absence of disease, but a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being. We strive to promote this approach to health by offering to build, improve and service the country of Zambia that address all aspects of wellness.
Similar to the main franchise located in the United States, GHHZAM aim to serve vulnerable and underserved groups and individuals in impoverished communities who struggle to receive access to public health that is needed to obtain and maintain a healthy life-style and well-being.
These vulnerable include rural, elderly, adolescents, children, parents of young children (ages 0-18yrs), low-literacy and educated, self workers and poor populations.
Each of these groups of individuals will be included in public health interventions such as: Community Mobilization & Education (CM&E) and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) by health workers and volunteers.
These health interventions will consist of supporting the development and implementation of quality health improvement projects across communities through door-to-door outreach, public meetings, health fairs, health training and demonstration and other activities such as construction development of hospitals/community health clinics and bore-holes/water-wells in needed areas.
GHHZAM is also offering volunteer opportunities, with a possibility of employment, to individuals in Zambia who holds an interest in the area of public health, and wants to get involve and become a part of the Global Harmony Health family.
