Joerum is a young man born in Lusaka, Zambia. Although both of his parents are Lozi speaking Zambians from the Western Province of Zambia, most his life he was raised in the Bemba land of Luapula Province.
He always had the desire to help others, especially the less privileged, when opportunities presented themselves. That is why in his early years he decided to join the Catholic Priesthood as a Missionary Oblate of Mary Immaculate whose charism of working with the poor he identified with. Although he left religious life as a Missionary Oblate of Mary Immaculate, Joerum continues to keep a close relationship to God and decided to venture off on a new journey that awaited and allowed him to continue serving mankind through multiple organizations, groups and individuals he interacts with in his daily life.
Among all the entities he encountered during his lifetime, he is happy to say he was able to become the Founder of Theotokos Institute, a tertiary institution of higher learning that is currently operating in Zambia and has so far graduated over 300 people in Zambia and neighboring countries.
THEOTOKOS INSTITUTE is an affiliate of the Ministry of Health, Zambia Counseling Council, Health Care Association of Zambia & Supershine University. It's mission is: “Quality Education to Promote Hope, Healthy & Recovery among People”. Joerum has created Theotokos Institute to operate training programs that are centered in the area of counseling as it allows opportunities for many individuals to earn their certificate and diploma which they conduct online, distance learning and physical classes.
Campuses are located in Kasama, Mansa, Serenje, Mkushi and Kapiri Mposhi districts of Zambia.
As Founder of Theotokos Institute, Joerum works with employees and students in the expertise areas of: Psychosocial Counseling; Guidance Counseling; Theology; Rapid HIV/AIDS Testing; Counselling Supervision; Trainer of trainers; HIV/AIDS Management; Social Work; Health Care Management and Introduction to Computers, among other programs.
Apart from the training programs provided through Theotokos Institute, Joerum also helps counseling in the areas of Child; Individual; Family; Couples; Relationships (Pre-Marital, Friendship, Family Members); Marriage; Drugs & Alcohol Addiction; Family Planning; HIV/Testing; Advocacy against early child marriages, teenage pregnancies and gender based violence; and lastly, helping individuals cope with life after losing a loved one either through death or divorce. These counseling programs are offered to the community on "Pro Bono" basis as its way of him, employees, graduates and enrolled students to give back to the community.

Richard Namangolwa is the fifth born in a family of nine. He was born in Samfya, District of Luapula Province of Zambia. Although his both parents are Lori speaking people of Western province of Zambia, Richard was raised and went to primary and secondary schools in Luapula Province of Zambia.
During his time serving for the Zambian government as Deputy Immigration Officer-In-Charge in Kaputa district bordering the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), he worked in collaboration with UNHCR. Richard used to volunteer to pick the Asylum's Seekers/Refugees and People of concern (POC) from the point of entry to the transit center, despite working in a complex and volatile situation. With his passion to help people who are in need and possessing the skills as a psychosocial counselor, Richard also provided voluntary psychosocial counseling to Asylum's Seekers/Refugees and People of Concern who were traumatized mentally and emotionally as a result of war in DRC.
In addition, Richard also worked as a Community Engagement Officer at Nalu Counseling, Rehabilitation & Ecological center. Some of his responsibilities were to mobilize the youth and adolescents in communities by offering counseling, HIV testing, rehabilitation services, sexual and reproductive health, GBV and educational support to vulnerable children.

Tasila Banda Tembo was born on a warm sunny day on July 14, 1994 at Mkushi District hospital in Mkushi where she is the oldest of six.
Tasila started school at the age of five at Mkushi Boma Basic School in Mkushi. There she was the youngest pupil in school, but very subsequent. In 2007, she advanced from elementary school to secondary school were she attended both 8th and 9th grade. While Tasila was attending Secondary School, she won an award for perfect attendance and was named the most disciplined pupil. Afterwards, she passed her grade 9 exams to advance to grade 10 in 2009.
In 2010, Tasila graduated from Secondary School to become a high school freshman at Mkushi High School. While in high school, she spent the majority of her time in the library with friends due to her high school being exclusively punctual and disciplined when academic work was involved. Overall, during her time in high school, her dream of passion was to one day become a nurse.
In 2015, Talisa journeyed off to college to pursue a diploma in "Early Childhood Education" at Mufulira Professional College in Mufulira. Talisa was very successful with her academics during the duration of her time in college to where she earned an opportunity to finish her education at Mufulira Professional College as a graduate in 2018.

Mary Kunda is 27 years old from Kapiri Mposhi, Zambia. She is goal-oriented with excellent ability to apply agricultural skills to practice and yield excellent results from work.
Mary completed Secondary School in 2014 and was awarded with a Grade twelve Certificate. In 2016, she went for further studies to pursue a Certificate in General Agriculture at Nkumbi International College in Mkushi.
Later, Mary attended an internship program as a Farm Supervisor at “Chabwino Farms” in Mkushi where she interned for 6 months. Soon after the internship, she graduated with a Craft Certificate in General Agriculture.
In 2020, Mary was employed with “One Acre Fund Organization” in Kabwe and worked as a Field Enumerator for two years. Having passion for agriculture, she was later given another internship opportunity to learn more in the area of agronomy by “Micro Acres Zambia” located in Lusaka. She earned her Certificate in Agronomy.
Finally in 2022, Mary was prepared to work with another company in Kabwe as an Agronomist (Supervisor). There, she led more than 100 people and managed day by day operations. She also developed better planting, cultivated, harvested techniques, took care of the livestock and operated farm equipment (Ex. Tractors).

Mulenga john was born on May 26th, 1990, in Zambia, to Pascle Mulenga (father, now late) and Jennifer Longa (mother, still alive). He is the number 6th in a total of 8, where 5 (a brother and sister now late) are older than him and 2 are younger than him. He began his educational journey in 1996, at Katema Primary School, where he obtained his grade 7 certificate. He then proceeded to harry Mwanga Secondary School, where he obtained his Grade 9 certificate. He further proceeded to Eden Institute where he completed his Grade 12 studies and obtained a certificate thereof.
After completing secondary school, Mulenga Pursued vocational training at Stefenuts Stock Company, earning a certificate in Brick Laying, Carpentry/ Joinery, and Metal Fabrication. He further enhanced his skills by obtaining a certificate in Farming and Rearing of Domestic Animals from Ulimi Solutions.
